Jeff Clark
Jeff, the owner of The Audio Consultant comes from a civil engineering background. His first foray into HiFi started when he was 14, A Michell Turnatble, it all started from there, building speakers and amps as a hobby which grew and grew. After 10 years in the Civil Engineering Buisness he made the change to HiFi sales. Within a short period of time he set up his own buisness. Which is now the oldest Hi Fi company in Hamilton. Building on a larger and larger clientele The Audio Consultant opened its purpose built showrooms and warehousing in 2005 after operating as a consultancy for over 10 years already.
Jeff has hand picked all his brands over the years to reflect his love for Audio and Video. Reliabilty as well as good performance is a must. Anyone who has purchased a system from Jeff will testify to the thorough process and excellent results.
The Audio Consultant also involves automation and integration of systems, which in reality was the focus from the early days of the buisness. Jeff considers The Audio Consultant to be the leader in Home Automation in the greater Waikato region.
David Boyes
David comes from a long career in Audio Visaul installation. Starting out as a SKY technician 9 years ago , he has gone from strength to strength with an almost insatiable appetite to learn about Automation, Audio and video.
A man passionate about getting the right solutions for clients. His specialities are in Control 4, Pronto, Speakercraft, and Axium Vantage automation and programming. He also installs Security and phone systems. He has a real knack for putting clients at ease and sorting out the right system for the job.
We ofetn get a lot of very positive comments from Davids clients, and he is a very valued member of our team.
After work he loves Skiing , Photography , music and movies.
Daniel Howard
Daniels career in the music industry spans nearly two decades, from when he was first employed by Jeff at Sound Systems Waikato 19 years ago. Daniel has a real passion for music in all its manifestations, whether recording , live presentation or installation of AV equipment.
From the early sales and install days Daniel went on to run a highly succesful recording and touring sound company “Click Sound” where he honed his craft at recording and live music. Some of the famous names he has mixed or recorded reads like a whos, who of the NZ music Scene. Pitch Black, Salmonella Dub, Shihad, the 5,6,7,8′s, The Living End,and The Datsuns all have a fond association with Daniel.
From Here Daniel came to The Audio Consultant to work on larger projects involving Audio, Video, lighting integration and became our first Control 4 technician. He has an MBA and numerous certificates in various aspects of Automation and Control.
Again, very polite and courteous with an eye on the right solutions for the clients. Good engineering and good sound, are key mottos. A wealth of experience that can make any system sound its best. A valued member of “The Audio Consultant”
Dan lives in Hamilton with his young son Quin and wife Christina and is very active in the community arts.
