The Audio Consultant was started by Jeff Clark in 1993. After managing a number of Hifi shops in the Waikato he felt a new approach needed to be created to deal with the emerging home automation and integration industry. Jeff’s background was in Civil and Contract Engineering so he knows the importance of delivering large complex solutions on time and on budget.

Starting from an office at home the business has expanded through several developments to a purpose built showroom and design studio with ware housing. The new showroom was opened in 2005 after builders, architects and clients needed more space to view and experience  solutions. The new showroom shows off some of the best Hifi, home theatre and automation solutions currently available.

With 30 years experience in Hifi and home theatre, Jeff has put together a strong selection of truly great Hifi brands including Cyrus, Naim, Focal and Q Acoustics for the music enthusiast. Matched with state of the art Home Theatre solutions and Automation equipment there really is no limit to what the team can achieve.

His team consists of expertly trained staff willing to listen and assist with any need you may have, no matter how large or small the project.
